General Story

Zhu Di, the Yongle Emperor, was a visionary ruler and brilliant military strategist. As Prince of Yan, he defended the northern borders of the Ming Dynasty, defeating the Northern Yuan and bringing peace to the people. His victories made him a powerful figure, though his rising influence stirred fear in the imperial court.
In 1399, the emperor, fearing Zhu Di’s strength, sought to weaken the regional princes. In response, Zhu Di launched the Jingnan Campaign, seizing the throne after four years of fierce conflict. His tactical brilliance and relentless resolve ensured his success.
As emperor, Zhu Di continued to expand Ming power, leading multiple northern campaigns and moving the capital to Beiping, symbolizing his dominance over the north. His legacy endures as one of China’s most formidable rulers, leaving an indelible mark on history.
